Makin’ travel around SF not suck as much. Bikes, scooters, busses, lyfts, skateboards, BART, bikeshare — mixin’ and matchin’ for the perfect transportation stack.

Let’s face it, getting around San Francisco sucks. In the ten months I’ve lived here I’ve been testing out various tranport options. Here’s a few I’ve enjoyed.

The following options mixed with Lyft, Muni, and BART have made getting around SF way easier.

Park ‘n Ride

Because parking in SF always sucks. When you have to park 7 blocks away and up a hill from your destination, mix in an electic skateboard and it sucks atleast half as much .

  • Electric skateboard (to and from parking spot)
  • +Fixed for the win with their new monitor your plate for tickets feature

Shreddin’ to Work

  • Electric skateboard — shredding in to work is the best way to start the day and a great release from normal rush in the morning
  • Lyft line for a ride home or longer distance trip
  • Bike on days when bouncing around after work or going for drinks

Runnin’ Around Town

  • Scoot — these guys are crushing it with convenient, affordable, fastest way around town transport. The only downside is availability for destination parking and if one is near you. But at $2 / half hour its unbeatable.

Great for: A short trip out for a work meeting or few errands.
